This problem occurs sometimes if Apple has not properly transferred purchases you have made to your device.
To resolve this issue:
Open the Old Notepad on your device.
Go to the settings panel ("Settings") and choose the option "Premium Upgrades".
There you will find at the bottom, a link called "Restore Purchases".
Select that link and Apple will transfer your purchases to your iPhone or iPad again. This should then re-enable all premium features.

Your notes are stored locally on your device & synchronized to Apple's iCloud service.
As a first step, confirm that you are subscribed to Apple's iCloud service & that you have sufficient free space on iCloud.
Assuming that is the case, try the following:
Try deleting the Old Notepad app & then reinstalling it from the AppStore.
Once you start the app up again, it should take 10-15 mins for your notes to re-sync from iCloud.
If you don't see your notes immediately, then try re-starting the app a few times. It may take some time for Apple to transfer your notes back to Old Notepad.

Old Notepad relies on Apple's iCloud service to synchronize notes between all your iOS devices.
Please ensure that you are logged into the same iCloud account on both devices.
This should sync the notes between the devices automatically. Please ensure that you have sufficient free space with iCloud.
You may need to leave the app open & running for about 10-15 mins on your iPhone/iPad for Apple to properly sync everything.
